TWO WORDS.
There's this moving scene in the movie 'Saving Private Ryan' where a dying Capt. Miller (Tom Hanks) tells Private Ryan (Matt Damon) two words, and dies.
"EARN IT"
This, after almost the whole band of soldiers send to save one solider (Private Ryan) is left with only a couple of them still alive.
The message is very profound.
And the same rings loud today for every Indian on our Independence Day.
A price has been paid for the freedom our generation enjoys.
The least we can do is to use this freedom to do our best for the society, the country and the world at large.
Earn it!
